Crooked, crowded or gapped teeth, and bites that do not meet properly. Straightening them makes teeth easier to clean as well as better to look at.

Treatment starts with an examination, X-ray and photographs, then a plan that says which option suits your teeth, roughly how long it will take, and what it costs.

Dental implants

Dental implants

An implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a small titanium post, and a crown goes on top. It does not need the teeth next to it to be cut down, as a bridge does.

Dr Bisherwal is an implantologist. Every implant starts with an X-ray to check the bone, and a clear plan: how many visits, how long healing takes, and the full cost up front.

Root canal & crowns

Root canal & crowns

When decay reaches the nerve, the tooth aches, often at night or with hot and cold. A root canal treatment (RCT) cleans out the infected nerve, seals the tooth, and saves it.

The tooth is numbed first, so the treatment itself should not hurt. A back tooth that has had an RCT usually needs a crown (cap) to stop it cracking.

Wisdom teeth (third molars) often come in crooked or only part of the way, trap food, and cause pain and swelling at the back of the jaw.

An X-ray shows the position of the tooth and its roots before it is removed. You leave with written aftercare instructions and a number to call.

Cleaning & scaling

Bleeding gums when you brush, bad breath and yellow-brown deposits behind the lower teeth are signs of tartar, which a toothbrush cannot remove.

Scaling and polishing clears it, and is the first step in treating gum disease. Most people need it every six months to a year.

Whitening & veneers

For stained, discoloured, chipped or uneven front teeth.
